The performance crossover is going to be better than before, with a more aggressive look and a more powerful engine configuration. A V6 stays under the hood, for sure. A 3.0-liter gasoline drivetrain is reserved for the US version, while European buyers are going to get a diesel plant. The current model delivers 350 hp and 370 lb-ft, while the oil burner delivers 340 hp and 515 pound-feet of torque.
What’s Happening With the 2025 Audi Q5 Sportback?
The SQ5 is a high-performance model where engine upgrades are key. Yes, there are also body parts that make the crossover look more aggressive, but the 2025 Audi Q5 Sportback is going to offer a coupe body, which some fans find way better. Nevertheless, this version hasn’t been spied on yet. The Sportback is coming out a few months after the regular version. This is the rival for the BMW X4.

A 2.0-liter engine is staying under the hood of the all-new version of the luxury crossover. The base configuration is turbocharged and sends power to the famous Quattro AWD system. The entry-level version can do 252 hp. Not a bad start for a luxury compact crossover. Even for European diesel setups, a 2.0-liter displacement is the first engine you find.
A hybrid configuration is also available with the same gasoline unit. The new 2025 Audi Q5 is going to be more efficient, especially when it comes to gas mileage. Even a diesel engine offers a hybrid setup. A plug-in hybrid is something more potent. This setup could do 367 hp and 369 lb-ft, and the batteries supported an electric range of 23 miles. Still, the precise pricing is going to be unveiled at debut. Since the all-new Q5 has been spotted so many times, the company plans an early premiere, although it is a 2025 YM. The unveiling is planned for summer and sales can start immediately. In the US, the base price is going to be around $45,000.
