The last year’s update is a pretty clear indicator that the full-size SUV from Lincoln should remain in the current for some more time. The current generation has been around for a while but the recent refresh has brought things like a new exterior, new features and more. 2024 Lincoln Navigator Design
As we’ve just mentioned, the 2024 Lincoln Navigator will continue in the same way. We are about to see a familiar layout, which has been around for several years. The overall design has much in common with the Ford Expedition, starting from the platform, wheelbase etc. On the other hand, the Navigator comes with a much more sophisticated suspension setup, which provides superior ride quality, even when compared to most luxury counterparts.
Of course, there is the matter of styling. The 2022 model brought a few styling updates but the overall design remained the same. The changes were quite subtle but quite effective, so the Navigator remains attractive and modern-looking. Interior
This aspect shouldn’t bring bigger changes either. We expect to see a familiar design, which still has a lot of amazing things to offer. It may feature as many high-tech features as the new Escalade, but it looks extremely elegant. This is still one of the best-looking cabins in the class, which looks stylish and also features excellent build quality. The attention to detail is amazing, and there is also an impressive selection of materials, including leather, genuine wood etc.
As a full-size, the Navigator has plenty of room on the inside. Of course, three rows of seats are standard and all three accommodate adults with ease. The cargo area is also pretty impressive. You may count on up to 36 cubic feet behind the third row, 79.6 cubic feet behind the second row and 120 cubic feet of the total cargo volume.
Features
Novelties in this aspect are always possible so the 2024 Navigator could come with some of them. Still, we are pretty sure that most things are about to remain the same. Therefore, base models should come standard with goodies like tri-zone climate control, 13.2-inch touch screen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, navigation, a Wi-Fi hot spot, satellite radio, five USB ports, a 14-speaker audio system and wireless device charging. Among upgrades, expect to find things like a panoramic sunroof, a 28-speaker audio system and a dual-screen rear entertainment system with Amazon Fire TV compatibility.
The same thing is with safety features. So, we expect to see base models equipped with a rearview camera, parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, automatic high beams, lane-keep assist etc. Among upgrades, expect to find goodies like adaptive cruise control, head-up display, surround-view camera, automatic park assist etc.
2024 Lincoln Navigator Engine
The 2024 Lincoln Navigator will continue with the same powertrain. We are talking about the well-known twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6, which puts out around 440 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque, which is plenty enough for strong performance. The engine is smooth and refined, while the 10-speed automatic does a pretty good job too. Base models feature rear-wheel drive, while AWD is available.
When it comes to fuel economy, RWD models return around 17 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway, which is above average for a full-size SUV. Of course, models with all-wheel drive are slightly thirstier. When properly equipped, the Navigator can tow around 8.700 pounds.
